Joseph C. Ignoffo

Visitation for Joseph C. Ignoffo, 82, a resident of Palatine since 1979, will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 9:00AM until the time of the Funeral Service, 12 Noon at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  The Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine with military honors provided by the United States Army.

Joseph was born on October 7, 1933 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Joseph and Frances (nee Indurante) Ignoffo and passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 after an extended illness.

Joseph proudly served active duty in the United States Army from 1956 until 1958 and then with the Army reserves from 1958 the time of being honorably discharged in 1962.

Joseph is survived by the love of his life, Mary K. (Posey) whom he married on July 31, 1965 in Chicago, together they had celebrated their 50th anniversary in July of 2015; loving children Michelle (Robin) Honeyman and Michael (Renee) Ignoffo; cherished grandchildren Jacquelyn, Marissa and Nicholas Honeyman, Hundley, Foster, Michael and Luke Ignoffo; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loved family and friends.
