Joseph C. Parer

Visitation for Joseph C. Parer, 82, of Palatine since 1980 will be on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1201 E Anderson Dr, Palatine, from 10:30 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM.  The Interment will be at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.

He was born in Batavia, NY son of Joseph and Margaret (nee Panczel) on September 29, 1932.  He passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2015 in Arlington Heights.

Joseph is the beloved husband, Carol (nee Soleau); loving father of Jeff (Pam), Lisa (Tim) and Marty; dear grandfather of Andy, Ashley, Amanda, Genna, Joline, and T.J.; and fond brother of Helen McWilliams.

Joseph was a Navy veteran having served in the Korean War. He was an avid golfer and a dedicated member of St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church.
