Joseph G. Crowley, Jr.

Visitation for Joseph G. Crowley, Jr., 79, a resident of Palatine since 1970, will be held on Sunday, April 5, 2015 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy. Palatine also at the funeral home.  Funeral Services will begin with prayers on Monday, April 6, 2015 at 9:30AM proceeding to St. Theresa Catholic Church, 455 N. Benton Street, Palatine, for the Funeral Mass at 10:00AM.  Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.

Joseph was born on May 10, 1935 in Harrisburg, PA the son of the late Joseph and Reba (nee Uhler) Crowley, Sr. and passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2015.

Joseph grew up in the Harrisburg, PA area and was a graduate of John Harris High School, he went on to attend and graduate from Penn State University.  His employment began in Illinois working with Stewart Warner Corporation where had worked for 20 years.  Joe then worked with Robert Bosch Corporation until the time of his retirement.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 45 years Sharon A. (nee Ballard) Crowley; loving father of his late infant daughters Sara and Elizabeth Crowley; dear brother of JoAnne (late Donald) Potter and Maureen (Mark) Kreider; also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews and many other loving family and friends.
