Joyce A. Piazza

Joyce A. Piazza, 84, of Schaumburg, was born on January 25, 1940, to John and Antonina Sobus. She passed away peacefully on Friday, March 22, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.

Joyce spent most of her life as a housewife raising her beloved children. She loved local antique markets in and around Westfield NY, often refurbishing purchases for the home. She had a love for plants, animals, golfing, playing darts and cards. An amazing cook, Joyce was once featured in the Daily Herald for her recipes. She was a strong-willed dare devil who one day longed for her own motorcycle.

Joyce had a nurturing and caring soul and anyone who met her would immediately love her. She will be missed tremendously by all who knew her.

Joyce was the loving mother of Thomas, Michael and Jennifer Piazza; and dear aunt of Diane Lembitz of Hamburg, NY.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Adella Wozniak, John Sobus, Genevieve Kusz, and Estelle Chweicko.
