A Memorial Mass for Judith “Judi” Braham Galske will be held at 10:00a.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove, IL. The burial will immediately follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, behind the church.
Judi left this world on November 24, 2021, as a resident of Burr Ridge Senior Living Memory Care Unit.
Judi was born in 1943, the beloved daughter of George and Margaret Braham. She was born in Chicago and grew up in Wheeling with her family. Judi had a long and successful career in the Payroll Department for Libertyville School District. Judi then married Loyd Galske in 1995. After working for many years, Judi found her fulfillment in traveling the country and the world with her wonderful husband, Loyd. Judi was an active member of her community in Dell Webb Senior Living in Mundelein, where she and Loyd enjoyed gardening in their yard and meeting friends and family for dinner.
Judi was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd and her siblings, Thomas, Jackie, and Richard Braham.
She is survived by her nephew, Thomas Braham and nieces, Amy (Jeff) Braham Olson and Siobhan (Dave) Braham Crolene. In addition, Judi was lucky to have stepchildren; Cynthia (Lawrence) Christensen, Lloyd “Bud” Galske, Brian (Ann) Galske, and Wendy (Michael) Babjak; step grandchildren, Brigitte Kwiatek, Laura (Kyle) Rathbun, Anthony Galske, Kim (Zack) Billingsley, Brad Babjak, Alex Babjak and Nathan Babjak; step great grandchildren, Briella, Kyla, Blake, Remi, and Gianna.
Judi will be missed, but we know she is in heaven with her husband, parents and brothers.
