Julia Schwager

Visitation for Julia Schwager, 102, a longtime resident of Palatine, will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 9:30AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30AM at St. Joseph Home for the Elderly, 80 W. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  The Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.

Julia was born on August 7, 1911 in Chicago the daughter of the late Michael and Julianna (nee Weber) Walter and passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at St. Joseph Home for the Elderly.

Julia was the beloved wife of the late Lorenz Schwager; loving mother of the late Frank and the late Larry Schwager; loving grandmother of Mary Frances (Mike) Djus, Michael (Daniela) Schwager, Carolyn (Tom) Peceny, Steven Schwager, Cathy (Martin) Boyles, Laura (Richard) Moran, Therese (Dave) Klier, and Patrick (Mary Beth) Schwager; great grandmother 27 and great great grandmother of 3.

In lieu of flowers, memorials, in memory of Julia, would be appreciated for Little Sisters of the Poor, C/O St. Joseph Home for the Elderly, 80 W. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, IL  60067.
