Karen was born on October 12, 1953, to Michael and Karin Peterson. She died peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 26, 2024.

Karen was a devoted mother to her two beloved children, Brigette and Max, who brought immense joy and purpose to her life.

Karen’s life was a tapestry of varied and colorful experiences. She wore many hats throughout her career, excelling as a hairdresser, a school bus driver, a phlebotomist, and even a realtor. Her versatility and dedication in each of these roles reflected her hardworking and caring nature. Karen was known for her infectious sense of humor, her positive outlook on life, her stubborn and rebellious nature, her Viking strength, and her zest for life. She loved seeing every movie that came out in the movie theater, using the Ouija board, setting off fart machines when people least expected it, and making up funny family songs, leaving everyone laughing. She brought so much light to any room she entered.

Karen’s memory will live on in the hearts of Brigette and Max, her family, and her many friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
