Kathaleen “Kay” Benjamin

Kathaleen “Kay” Benjamin, 72, of LakeZurich, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2013.

The Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, July 5, 2013 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, LakeZurich.

Kay was born in Lake Zurich, IL on October 7, 1940.  She graduated from ElaVernonHigh School.

Kay was married to Cliff, her high school sweetheart on October 28, 1961, they have been married for 52 years.

Kay worked with her husband Cliff for many years, supporting his love of the automotive industry while they operated a local automotive business.  She had a passion for cooking and loved entertaining her family and friends.

Kay is survived by her spouse Clifford; daughters Kris (Darrin) Kuster and Ann (Todd) Minden.  She was the loving nana of her 5 grandchildren, Kyle, Colin, Rachel, Jake and Sarah.  Kay is also survived by her brother, Don (Cassie) Snetsinger and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

Kay is preceded in death by her father, Russell and mother Helen Snetsinger.
