Kathleen L. Semel

Visitation for Kathleen L. Semel, 71, of Palatine, will be on Thursday, August 15, 2019 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, where a Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 PM.

Kathy, an amazing and strong woman, fought hard with her recent illness. She had many friends who will miss her. She was a lover of jewelry and enjoyed shopping.

Kathy was born on November 2, 1947 to the late Robert and Clarine O’Donnell. She passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019.

Kathy is survived by her daughters, Kristen Grudewicz and Shannon Grudewicz; her sister, Jody (Lon) Cruse; her nephew, Cody Cruse; her niece, MacKenzie (Shaun) Koupal, their daughter, Nora; and her aunt, Louise Bonasera.
