Kathleen A. Mills

Visitation for Kathleen A. Mills, 73, of Palatine, will be held from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Family and friends may meet at Christ Lutheran Church, 41 S. Rohlwing Road, Palatine for the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 11, 2024. The Interment will take place privately.

Kathy was born March 26, 1951, to Richard and Margaret Garritano. She passed away at home on Friday, October 4, 2024.

Kathy, a devout Christian, was an active community volunteer.

Kathy was the loving mother of Matt Whitney and Chris (Heather) Whitney, dear sister of the late Richard J. (Karen) Garritano, Patricia (Robert) Von Laven, the late Michael J. Garritano, and Thomas J. (Melinda) Garritano. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Christ Lutheran Church.
