Kenneth passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at JourneyCare in Arlington Heights. Ken was born on May 31, 1931 to Richard and Mary Robinson.

He was the beloved husband of Julie Robinson for 67 years. He is also survived by his children, Linda, (the late Richie) Weagley, Cathy (Kevin) Moesser, Patty (Jim) Wiscombe and Rick (Laura) Robinson; his grandchildren, Josh (Bonnie), Aaron (Sena), Jamie (Aryn), Jordan, Jared, Bekah, Alyssa (Dan), Lindsay, Brandon, Matthew and Lexie; his great-grandchildren, Hayden, Chelsea, Danika, Kyle, Caden, Phoenix, Quinn, Julie, Sophie, Brittany, Leo and Avery; his sister Shirley Anderson; his brother-in-law, Keith (Kathie) Taylor; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother, Richard; and his sisters, Bernice and Darlene.

Ken served during the Korean War in the Air Force, 191st Fighter Bomber Squadron, where he prepared planes for missions. He worked in Sales with Colgate Palmolive and then Sara Lee. Ken always worked hard to provide for his family and worked his way up through the ranks of the Salesforce. He retired as Sara Lee’s National Sales Vice President. He and Julie served an 18-month mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Guam-Micronesia mission on the island of Pohnpei. He served in his church in many ways, including as Bishop, Stake Patriarch and Temple President of the Chicago LDS Temple. The things that mattered most in life to Ken were his family, his faith, his country and serving others. He truly was the epitome of selflessness. “Separated by death, together by love”.
