Kenneth M. Cook

The memorial service for Kenneth Michael Cook, 66, of Hoffman Estates formerly of Palatine, will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014, 2:00PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  Interment will be private.

Ken was born on January 3, 1948 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Walter Cook and Anna (nee: Rejczyk) Cook and passed away early in the morning on Monday, August 25, 2014 after fighting a courageous battle with liver cancer.

Prior to Ken’s retirement he had worked for 30 years as an automotive electronics engineer with Motorola.  Ken enjoyed gardening and most importantly spending time with his family whom he loved so much.  He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Beloved husband of 30 years of Karen (nee: Taylor) Cook; loving father of Elizabeth Anne and Alexander Michael Cook; dear brother of Eileen (Late Rollie) Burke and Audrey (Wayne) Szatkowski; also preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister; 3 nephews also survive.
