Lara J. Brynildssen

A Memorial Visitation for Lara Joy Brynildssen, 51, of Palatine, will be from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, October 18, 2019 at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy, Palatine. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019, 10:00 AM at Christ Lutheran Church 41 S. Rohlwing Road, Palatine. The Internment will be private.

Lara is survived by her mother Jolinda A. Brynildssen; Brother Yngvar Brynildssen (Dr. Kristine Mosier); Cousins Lisa Anderson Canario (Antonio), Eric Anderson (Jova), Matthew Akkeron (Barbara) and Kirsten Bernheim (Joel); Nephew Var Brynildssen.

She is preceded in death by her father Jack P. Brynildssen; her cats Carter, Clementine, and Lucas were especially important to her.

Lara Joy was an entrepreneur; she successfully represented many baby clothing lines as a manufacturer’s representative. Additionally, she capitalized on her photography skills and specialized in equine photography. She travelled to Onaqui several times a year to lead groups and teach them to capture the beauty of the horses she so loved. Sadly, on her recent trip, she became very ill and unexpectedly passed away.
