Lavonne J. Black

Visitation for LaVonne J. Black (nee Ebel), 74, of Granite Falls, NC, formerly of St. Charles, IL, will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020 from 10:00am until 11:30am at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  A Graveside Service will follow at Lake Zurich Cemetery at 12:00 pm.

LaVonne passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020, at her home.  She was born June 26, 1946 in Elgin, IL to the late Joseph Ebel and Bernice (nee Hansen) Ebel.

She was employed for 25 years as an Executive Secretary for the McDonald’s Corporation, Legal Department.

In addition to her parents, LaVonne is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Black; three sisters, Diane (nee Ebel) Stowel, Joanne (nee Ebel) Coy.

Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Kristen Yoxall of Hudson; her sister, Dawn (need Ebel) Leduc and brothers, Joseph Ebel and Lorin Ebel and one granddaughter, Evelynn Yoxall.
