Lavonne J. Roge

Visitation for LaVonne J. Roge, 90, of Palatine, will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 2:00pm until the time of the Memorial Service, 3:00pm at Christ Lutheran Church, 41 S. Rohlwing Road, Palatine, IL 60074.  The Interment will be private.

She was born on June 22, 1926 in Hoskins, NE and passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017 in Elk Grove Village.

LaVonne had an unwavering faith in God and was very active with Christ Lutheran Church as well as several other organizations in the community.   She was a consummate mother and homemaker and gladly welcomed friends and neighbors into her home.  Her family was her priority.

Survivors include her children Richard (Marlyn) of CA, Carol (Greg Jones) Roge of IA and Stuart (Tane Beecham) of Winnetka, IL; grandchildren Marissa, Jacob and Hannah Roge and Lorraine and Kate Roge-Jones and Annie, Adam and Matthew Roge; and sister Muriel Schmidtke.  She was preceded in death by her husband Carl C. Roge.
