Lawrence J. Conino

Visitation for Lawrence John Conino (“Larry”), 75, will be held Monday, April 2 from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.  Funeral Services will begin Tuesday, April 3, 2018, 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home and proceed to Mt. Carmel Cemetery for the Interment.

Larry was born March 8, 1943 in Chicago and surrendered to eternal peace on March 25, 2018, surrounded by his loved ones.

He was the beloved husband of Lorrene M. Conino, (nee Stuchl), and the loving father of Lawrence Conino Jr.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Ila Conino.

Larry was a long-time resident of Kildeer, Illinois.  An accomplished hair stylist, Larry owned two successful salons earlier in his career.  He then spent many years at the Michael Thomas Salon and Spa before recently retiring. He was a proud Navy veteran, enjoyed good food and loved to cook.  He cherished his friends, and always appreciated a good debate!
