Leona N. Nightingale

Funeral Services and Interment for Leona N. Nightingale (nee Nowicki), 91, of Forest Lake, Illinois, since 1958, will be private.

Leona was born October 22, 1923, in Thorp, Wisconsin, and she passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Good Shepherd Hospital, Barrington.

She enjoyed word finds, puzzles, gardening and riding the lawn tractor.

Leona was the beloved wife of Willard W. Nightingale, loving mother of Wayne (Karen) Serginia, Glenn Serginia and William Nightingale; loving grandmother of Heather and Joshua Serginia and Kristen and Allisha Nightingale; dear daughter of the late Steve and Josephine (nee Boinski) Nowicki, fond step-mother of Jeffrey Nightingale.  She was preceded in death by her 9 brothers and sisters.
