Lillian A. Matsie

Funeral Services for Lillian A. Matsie (nee Licka), 88, of Santee, CA, formerly of Palatine, will be held Thursday, June 12, 2014, 2:30p.m. at the Memory Gardens Cemetery chapel, 2501 E. Euclid Ave., Arlington Heights.

Lillian was born January 19, 1926 in Chicago and she passed away peacefully, May 27, 2014 in Santee, CA.

Survivors include her daughter Janet R. Dahlstrom-Matsie; grandchildren, Thomas M. Matsie Jr., Nicole Long, and Ashley Dahlstrom.

She was preceded death by her husband, Rocco M. Matsie; son, Thomas M. Matsie Sr.; parents, Frank and Ann (nee Sikora) Licka and 9 brothers and sisters.

Lillian loved bingo and music, and she enjoyed going to dinners, plays, and movies.

She will be greatly missed by her daughter, grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

We are all grateful for her being received by her Lord Jesus Christ when she went to heaven.
