Lillian Catherine Kraft

Funeral Services and Interment for Lillian Catherine Kraft (nee Chamberlain), 92, formerly of Palatine, will be private.

Lillian was born on July 23, 1923 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Harold P. and Marion T. (nee Morrison) Chamberlain and passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2016 in Elgin.

Lillian was a member of the D.A.R..  Following the retirement of Lillian’s husband in the early 1980’s, they moved to Hendersonville, NC where they enjoyed living for the next 25 years.  Most important in Lillian’s life was the love and care she had for her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Arthur Kraft; loving mother of Robert Kraft, Ronald Kraft and Richard (Kathy) Kraft; cherished grandmother of JoAnne C. Kraft; and dear sister of Irene Ulm.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as great and great-great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington DC, 20090-6011.
