Visitation for Linda Kay Yerbic (nee Woods), 80, of Kildeer, will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at he Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 9:30 am, proceeding to St. Francis de Sales Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, where a Funeral Mass will be said at 10:00 am. The Interment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in Canton, IL.
Linda spent many years working with the Chicago Children’s Home and Aid Society and volunteering her time through various church organizations. Never was there a more loving person, who doted on her family and grandchildren and brought love and meaning to so many.
Linda has passed into eternal rest.
She is the loving wife of James Stephen Yerbic, the daughter of Thelma and Paul Woods of Canton, IL, where she was born, met and married her sweetheart, Jim Yerbic. Jim and Linda celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary this year, with many family members and celebrated Linda’s 80th birthday recently. Linda and Jim have two daughters, Teri Lynn Wallace of Raleigh, NC and Deborah Anne (Hugh) Rayhab of Nashville, TN. Linda was a dedicated grandmother and deeply loved by her children and grandchildren; Rachel Elizabeth Rayhab, Ryan James Rayhab, Morgan William Wallace, Riley Michael Rayhab, Kensey Nicole Wallace, Reece Matthew Rayhab and Ian James Wallace: and sister of Joann (Jack) Waughtel of Cuba, IL.
Eternal rest grant unto Linda O Lord and let Perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed through the Mercy of God Rest in Peace. Amen.
