Lizetta F. Moore

Visitation for Lizetta Florence Moore, 97, of Lake Zurich, formerly of Homewood, Momence and Wooddale, will be held from 10:00 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 am on Monday, October 3, 2022, at Peace Lutheran Church, 1050 S. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich.  The Interment will be private.

She was born on September 4, 1925 in Chicago, IL and passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022.

After her children were grown, Lizetta went back to school and became a Registered Nurse, comforting those in need at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in Dyer, IN and Oak Forest Hospital of Cook County.  She loved walking outdoors, and especially enjoyed flowers, trees and birds.

Lizetta is the beloved wife for 54 years to the late Donald Dean Moore; dear mother of John (Nancy) of Wheeling, Donna Moore of Lake Barrington and Jeffrey (Nancy) of Deer Park; loving grandmother of Christopher (Katie), Douglas (Kerry), Thomas (Kealy) and Julia Moore; great grandmother of Cooper, Mackenzie, Brayden and Liv.
