Lloyd L. Struttman

A Visitation for Lloyd L. Struttman, 87, of North Barrington, will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 3:00PM until 9:00PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  Funeral Services will begin with prayers Wednesday, April 8, 2015, 10:00AM at the funeral home and proceeding to St. Francis de Sales Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, for a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM.  An Entombent will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.

Lloyd was born on April 11, 1927 in Rhineland, MO, the son of the late Walter and Martha (nee van Booven).  He died Thursday, April 2, 2015.

He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served as a Staff Sergeant during World War II.  Lloyd graduated from St. Louis University.  He was a District Manager at Equitable Life Assurance Society and owner of Struttman Associates Inc.  He served in leadership roles for the Boy Scouts of America, Knights of Columbus, United Way, and Lions Club. Lloyd was a devoted family man and a master woodworker.  He enjoyed sailing, traveling and the outdoors.

Lloyd will be laid into eternal rest with his late wife, Mary Ann whom he married September 15, 1951 in St. Louis, MO.  He is survived by his  children; Michael (Ingrid), Mary Beth (Mark) McNally, Susan (Glenn) Tarter, Ellen (Mark) Russow, Margaret (Gene) Beiswenger, Jim, Chris (Meg);  Grandchildren, Lara, Caryn, Bennett, Bjorn, Brian, Erin, Sheila, Kevin, Joshua, Nicholas, Jonathan, Thomas, Rebecca, Christopher, Robert, David, Matthew, Peter, Bryce, Patrick, and Sean; Great-Grandchildren, Ian, Isaiah, and Kaeson; Brother, Larry (Angie) Struttman; and many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by Granddaughter, Rachel Tarter.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Francis de Sales Parish School, in memory of Lloyd Struttman, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, IL 60047
