Lorraine Oliver

Visitation for , 91, will be held Saturday, June 14, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service, 11:00 a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  The Interment will follow in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.

She died Tuesday of natural causes at Church Creek Assisted Living in Arlington Heights.  Lorraine was a Palatine resident for over 50 years and retiree from Paddock Publications.  She was preceded in death by her wonderful husband of 68 years, John F. Oliver and son; John Michael.

Lorraine is survived by her daughters, Lynn Pisano (Joe), Susan Graessle (Paul) and Karen Williamson-Molitor (Rick); granddaughters, Beth Graessle, Laura Davis (James) and Meggan Graessle.  She was also “Grandma Great” to Katie, Kerri and Kenny Olzewski; Owen, Evan and Noah Davis.

Her family was very blessed with her unconditional love, devotion, wisdom and generosity.

Born in Chicago in 1923, Lorraine was the oldest of seven children.  She is also survived by her sister, Joan Hall of Stafford, VA and many nieces and nephews.

The family would appreciate donations to the Little Sisters of the Poor, Palatine, in lieu of flowers.
