Lottie E. Zajdel

Visitation for Lottie E. Zajdel, 91, a resident of Palatine since 1967, will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2014 from 3:00pm until 9:00pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  Services will begin with prayers at the funeral home on Monday, May 19, 2014, 9:30am proceeding to St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1201 E. Anderson Drive, Palatine, for the Funeral Mass at 10:00am.  The Entombment will follow at Windridge Cemetery Mausoleum in Cary. Lottie was born on October 14, 1922 in Frankfurt, Germany the daughter of the late Johann and Margarete (nee Guckel) Hendricks and passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2014.

Lottie was an active member of the Rolling Meadows Senior Center and enjoyed playing Canasta and Dominos with her friends at the center.

Lottie was the beloved wife of the late Joseph C. Zajdel; loving mother of Kathy L. Zajdel and the late Frank Zajdel; cherished grandmother of Phillip Zajdel and Luke (Tammy) Fritz; dear mother in law of Arlene Zajdel.
