Louis H. Boquist

Visitation for Louis H. Boquist, 83, of Lake Zurich, will be on Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  Prayers will be said at 9:15 am on Friday at the funeral home, proceeding to St. Francis de Sales Church, 33 S. Buesching Road in Lake Zurich for a Mass at 10:00 am.

Louis went to join the Lord on April 13, 2015.  He was born in Chicago to Eric and Henrietta (nee Weimer) he was the youngest of seven children who have all preceded him.

He was the loving husband of 59 years to Joan (nee Rutkowski); loving father to Kathie (Nick), Michael (Patti), Daniel (Sandra), Ellen (Greg) and Lori (Rick); proud grandfather of Steve, Ben, Jaquelyn, Elissa, Tony, Kevin, Jessica, Ryan and Justin; favorite uncle to many and friend to all.

Lou was a veteran of the Korean War a member of the American Legion and Lions Club for over 40 years and always active in Lake Zurich community events.
