Louise M. Mackay

A Visitation for Louise M. MacKay will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 200 N. Plum Grove Rd., Palatine. The Reverend Warren Schiff will officiate.  The Interment will be private at a later date. A luncheon will follow the service in the church hall.

Louise passed away peacefully at Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights on October 29, 2021.  She lived the past 10 years at this facility enjoying fellowship and activities within the community there.  Louise was born November 14, 1926 to Frederick and Agnes (nee Schoenberg) Stuendel in Detroit, Michigan.

She was the beloved wife of the late Donald M. MacKay.  She is survived by her children, Craig (Anne) MacKay, Colleen (James) Haas and Stephen MacKay; her brother, Robert Stuendel and twin sister, Dorothy Neeb; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Carl and Marc; sisters, Rita, Norma, and Gertrude; and daughter Janet Jenkinson.
