Lucyna “Lucy” Jozwiak

Visitation for Lucyna “Lucy” Jozwiak, will take place on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 4:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  Prayers will be said, 10:00a.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at the funeral home, and proceeding to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, for a Funeral Mass, 10:30a.m.  An Interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles.

Lucy was born July 11, 1942 in Poland, and passed away peacefully Thursday, October 5, 2017 surrounded by her family.

Lucy was a long time resident of Lake Zurich and Top Producing Realtor in Lake County.  Together with her husband John Jozwiak, they built an incredible development business that could only be described as the true American Dream.

Lucy loved many things but most of all she loved her family.  Anytime she had some spare time, she was the ultimate in entertaining and hosted the best parties. She was the absolute best wife, mother, sister, aunt, and daughter that we could ever ask for.  We love you so much Lucy.

Lucy is survived by her loving husband, John Jozwiak, with over 36 years of marriage, cherished daughter Mischa (Jacob) DeHart, sisters Marianna (Christopher) Niepomnik, Bonnie (Stanley) Wisz, Donna (the late Mark) Pogorzelski, adored aunt of Adam (Cheryl) Niepomnik, Derek (Emily) Niepomnik, Elisa Wisz, Mark (Kate) Pogorzelski, Catherine Temko, Suzanne (Joseph) Tabor, John (Sarah) Pogorzelski.  Lucy is preceded in death by her son Casey Chojniak, mother Stella Rutkowski, and father Alex Rutkowski.
