Lynn P. Trent

Lynn Patricia Trent, 60, a resident of Palatine since 1976.

Visitation for Lynn Patricia Trent will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013 from 12 Noon until the time of the Funeral Service at 4:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  The interment will be private.

Lynn was born on September 9, 1952 in Oak Park, IL the daughter of the late Charles and Patricia (nee McCarthy) Merz and on Monday, June 3, 2013Lynn was called to her heavenly home.

Lynn is survived by her dear husband John E. Trent; her loving children Zac (Kristi) Trent, Summer (Dan) Hengels and Mack Trent; her cherished grandchildren Taylor and Madison Trent; and her beloved brother Robert (Sue) Merz.

Lynn’s four year old granddaughter Madison was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes in 2012.  Lynn had been very involved in the efforts to raise money to fund a service dog for Mady.
