Margaret M. Gintz

Visitation for Margaret Mary Gintz (nee Flentge), 90, of Palatine, will be held Friday, October  9, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service, 7:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.  The Reverend David Mercer will officiate.  Family and friends will meet Saturday, 10:15 a.m. at Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery, 30W730 Hwy. 20, Elgin, IL 60120, for a 10:30 a.m. Committal Service.

Margaret was born December 14, 1924 in Schaumburg, Illinois, and she passed away October 7, 2015 in Rolling Meadows.

Margaret was a longtime member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Palatine.  Throughout the years she helped many single parent mothers by babysitting their children.  She touched so many lives, and stayed in contact with many of the families for years.

She was the beloved wife of the late Fred I. Gintz Jr.; loving mother of Sharon Gintz and John Gintz; dear daughter of the late Harry and Martha (nee Berlin) Flentge; fond sister of  Marvin (Frances) Flentge, Betty (Late Joseph) Motto and the late Vera (late Robert) Moehling.
