Margaret M. Selin

Memorial Visitation for Margaret M. Selin, 72, of Palatine since 1975, will be on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 9:00a.m. until the time of the Memorial Mass, 10:00a.m. at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1201 E. Anderson Drive, Palatine.  The Interment will be private.

Marge was born on July 29, 1943 to Patrick and Mary Deasey in Chicago, IL and passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at her home.  

She worked for the Village of Arlington Heights as a village administrator.  After retirement, she volunteered at Northwest Community Hospital.  Marge will be remembered by her dynamic personality and being able to light up the room when she arrived.  

Marge was the loving mother of: Michael, Anne (Anthony) Thurman, and Eric; the beloved grandmother of: Alexa, Alyssa and Alenna; devoted great grandmother of: Alannah and Aydrian.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Leonard and Jim.
