Margaret P. Boyer

A Memorial Visitation for Margaret Pauline Boyer, 91, of Palatine, will be from 9:15 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass, 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 455 N. Benton St., Palatine, 60067.  The Interment will be at The Fifield Cemetery, Fifield, WI.

Margaret was born on June 15, 1926 in Fifield, WI to Wenzel and Anna (nee Kraemer) Boyer.  She passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Alexian Village of Elk Grove Village.  

Professionally, Margaret worked for C.E. Thompson Company in Park Ridge for over 50 years.  She also worked with the funeral luncheon committee at St. Theresa for many years and was a longtime member of the Apostolate of Women. She was a selfless spirit who was always willing to help others in times of need, especially volunteering at the Little Sisters of the Poor.  

Margaret is survived by sister, Georgia (Dr. Alfredo) Alarcon; brothers, Frank and James Boyer; sister-in-law, Georgia Boyer-Lichthardt; 14 nieces & nephews; 17 great nieces & nephews; 1 great-great nephew; close family friend, Joan Kaiser Cline; and good friend to many neighbors and St. Theresa parishioners.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Helen (Gene) Lannigan; brothers, Douglas “Art” and Vincent Boyer; and godparents, Nonnie & Joe Haas

The family would like to thank the Alexian Village Staff and Comfort Hospice.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Theresa Parish in Margaret’s name.
