Maria C. Pellegrinetti

Visitation for Maria C. Pellegrinetti, 99, of Deer Park, formerly of Lemont and Chicago, will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2019 from 2:00PM until 7:00PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Fr. Ryan, from St Francis de Sales Church, will be leading a Prayer Service at 3:30PM during the visitation. A Funeral Mass will be said, 10:30AM, Monday, March 4, 2019 at Most Holy Redeemer Church, 9525 S. Lawndale Avenue, Evergreen Park. The Interment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery in Evergreen Park.

Maria was born on July 24, 1919 in Belgium and passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in Deer Park, IL.

She is the beloved wife of the late William R.; mother of Gordon (Elaine), Charlotte McNerney and Georgette (John) Mearns; grandmother of Gordon Jr., Gina, Lisa, Maryann, John II, William, the late Joseph and Joellyn; great grandmother of 10.

Maria devoted her life to her religion and prayer. She prayed to the patron saints daily, always seeking health, happiness and safety for her family, friends and those around her. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Lucia Church and was an active member of the Loyal Order of Moose. She had loved to dance and socialize at the lodge. Maria always enjoyed spending time with her family and seeing her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Although her vision, hearing and mobility had declined her spirituality and love of the lord never did. She will truly be missed by all that knew her.

In lieu of flowers, Masses will be appreciated.
