Marie B. Nelson

Visitation for Marie B. Nelson, 93, of Lake Zurich, formerly of Dolton, IL, will be held Friday, December 10, 2021, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. Funeral Services will begin Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 10:00 am at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, Lake Zurich. An Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, IL.

Marie was born October 7, 1928, in Chicago, and passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 in Lake Zurich.

Marie was the beloved wife of the late Richard Nelson; loving mother of Richard Nelson, Roy (Mary) Nelson, Patricia (Jory) Downer, and Charles (Diane) Nelson, loving grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 10; dear daughter of the late Terrence and Eva Dolan.

Marie was a lover of flowers, avid bingo player at the senior center and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her contagious laugh and bright spirit will be missed by the many lives she touched.
