Marie N. Wartell

Visitation for Marie Christine Wartell (nee Nelson), 102, of Palatine since 1978, formerly of Chicago will be Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service, 10:30 a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  The Interment will be private.

She was born January 4, 1913 in Chicago, IL and died Friday, March 13, 2015 in Arlington Heights.

Marie was the beloved wife of the late Tadeusz “Tad”; mother of Susan (Michael) Tranquilla, and Nancy (Keith “Bud”) Kraft, Linda (the late Mark) Roach; grandmother of David, Julie, Diane, Keith, Vincent, Patricia and the late Matthew; great-grandmother of Amy, Tyler, Hannah, Tori, Connor, Bre, Josh, Megan, Gabe, Gypsy, Josie and the late Timmy; sister of the late Esther (the late Marvin) Jenkins and the late Knute (the late Elsie) Nelson; aunt of many nieces and nephews.
