Visitation for Marilyn O. Johanson, age 83, of Hoffman Estates, will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy. Palatine. She will lie in state from 9:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at The Orchard, 1301 S. Grove Ave., Barrington.

She was born October 18, 1933 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Axel and Marcella Ogren. Marilyn died Tuesday morning, October 25, 2016.

She is survived by her husband Leonard, son Kevin (Mimi) Johanson, two grandchildren Zachary and Kiersten, brother Glen (Mavis) Ogren, sister Blanche (Robert) Staal.
