Marin E. Allgood

Visitation for Marin Elizabeth Allgood, 25, of Deer Park, Illinois will be held Friday, April 7, 2023, from 2:00 until 8:00 pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, with an open floor of remembrance from 7:00 to 8:00 pm to allow friends, family, and all in attendance to share stories of Marin and what made her special.

Marin was a vibrant and bold personality that was loved by her friends and family.  Marin was a 4th-year pharmacy student at Rosalind Franklin University School of Medicine and Science.  She was just 8 weeks short of graduation day to become a Doctor of Pharmacy.  She had done 3 years of undergraduate work at the University of Nebraska Lincoln prior to pharmacy school. Marin is also a proud Lake Zurich High School graduate where she played Volleyball, Basketball, and Softball for most of her high school career.  Graduation day for pharmacy school is set for June 2nd, where her brother, Noah, will walk the stage on behalf of Marin to accept her degree.

In her spare time, Marin was an avid pet lover from the age of 7.  She was the proud foster parent of 4 dogs from the Chicagoland Dog Rescue and decided to adopt 2 of the dogs, Gus and Sophie.  She also loved her 2 cats, Otis and Sage.

Marin most recently was a pharmacy intern for Jewel-Osco in Hoffman Estates, Illinois (Palatine Road).

Marin is survived by her parents, Marc and Theresa Allgood; brother, Noah Allgood; and her future sister-in-law, Lindsey Hoffman, all of Eagle, Idaho.
