Marion D. Darman

The Memorial Service for Marion D. Darman, 95, a resident of Friendship Village of Schaumburg and former longtime resident of Palatine, will be scheduled for a future date.

She was born on July 25, 1919 in Appleton, WI the daughter of the late Edwin and Martha (nee Lenz) Pollnow and passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Friendship Village.

Marion was a longtime member of Christ Lutheran Church of Palatine and the Rolling Meadows Senior Center.

Beloved wife of the late Wallace Darman; loving mother of Bill (Maria Mau) Darman, Jane (Greg) Smith and the late Richard Darman; cherished grandmother of Randy, Kevin (Lori), Brian (Jenna) and Shari (Marcus Ruegsegger) Darman, Shannon Smith-Parke and Erin Smith; great grandmother of Zak, Tara, Sienna, Annika and Elin; dear sister of Ruth (Late Rev. Edward) Schultz and  Jean (Willi) Williams; daughter in law Candace Darman; preceded by her brothers Norbert, Harold and Leonard Pollnow; also loved by many aunts, uncles cousins and friends.
