Marion G. Bauer

Services and Interment for Marion G. Bauer, 99, a longtime resident of Palatine, will be held privately.

Marion passed away, March 28, 2023, at home, and was born in Chicago on August 20, 1923.

She worked many years for the Palatine Chamber of Commerce and then went to work for Illinois Representative Bernie Peterson.

She was a devoted wife to the late Henry K. Bauer and loving mother to sons, Gregg (Kathi) Bauer, Brian Bauer and the late Joann Bauer.

She was adored by her grandchildren, Ron (Katlyn) Bauer, Kim (Alvaro) Estrada, Jeff (Jenny) Bauer and Tim and Brianna Bauer. Great grandchildren, Bailey, Alexia and Christopher Estrada, Jake, Olivia and Madison Bauer, Joshua and Reign, Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and sister, Marge Schufreider.

Marion is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Evangeline Garot, sister, Betty and brothers, Robert and Joseph Garot.

She will be greatly missed by so many.
