Mark R. Morris

A Memorial Visitation for Mark Richard Morris, of Palatine for 13 years, will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the family remembrances, 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016, at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.

Mark was born February 8, 1966 in Berwyn, IL to Richard and Gloria (nee Newlon) Morris.  He died November 19, 2016 at the age of 50 in his home in Palatine.

He was a graduate of Buffalo Grove High School and the University of Illinois, Champaign.  He was an avid sports fan enjoying all the University of Illinois games and all the Chicago sports teams.

Mark is survived by his parents, Richard and Gloria; brother, Mitchell (Amy) Morris, godchild and nephew, Ryan; niece, Brooke; and uncles, aunts and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the name of Mark Morris, to Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund, 1610 Scottsville Road, Charlottesville, VA 22902 who will apply donations to a scholarship fund from Mark’s Kappa Sigma Fraternity Chapter at the University of Illinois to benefit undergraduates of his chapter.
