Martin H. Greenhalgh

Memorial Visitation for Martin H. Greenhalgh of Lake Zurich, will be held Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Rd., Lake Zurich, IL, 60047.  Burial will be private.

Martin passed away on November 11, 2014.  He was born on January 10, 1943 in Evanston, IL.

The beloved son of John and Katherine Greenhalgh.  Martin grew up in Evanston, IL, and attended Evanston High School and graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Architecture.  On November 30, 1979 he married Pollie Hopkins of Chicago, IL.  They moved to Lake Zurich and have been there ever since.  They were blessed with three boys, Arik (deceased), Matthew and Justin.

Martin retired from the Government with 42 years of service.  Retiring gave him the opportunity to enjoy his passion for creating stain glass projects, relaxing and spending time with family and a host of friends.

Marty is survived by his wife, Pollie; son Matthew (Jill & Camden) and Justin; brother, Scott (Pat) of Englewood, Fla. and numerous relatives and close friends.
