Mary Ann Brackus

The Interment for Mary Ann Brackus, 92, of Rockford, a former longtime time resident of Palatine, will take place privately at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Hillside.

Mary Ann joined her beloved husband, Robert, in Heaven on September 13, 2023. She was born on July 25, 1931, in Chicago, the daughter of the late William J. and Kathryn (nee Mulhearn) O’Connor.  She was the niece the late Dr. Earl and Mary Kay Boulger.

Mary Ann was the loving wife of the late Robert E.; mother of Michael J., the late, Robert P., Lisa A. Janowski and Kerry J. (Kendra) Brackus; cherished grandmother and great grandmother of many; dear sister of the late William and the late John (Diane Kalwajtys) O’Connor; also surviving many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association.
