Mary E. Galbavy

A Memorial Visitation for Mary E. Galbavy (nee Moore), 55, of Palatine, will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine. The Visitation will continue Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church 1201 E. Anderson Drive, Palatine, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m.

Mary was born January 29, 1964 in Evergreen Park, Illinois, and passed away May 3, 2019 in Miami, Florida.

Mary was the beloved wife of Christopher D. Jans; loving mother of Samantha Galbavy, Chelsea Jans and Nicholas Jans; dear daughter of the late James and Rosemary (nee Anderson) Moore; fond sister of James (late Patricia) Moore, Patrick Moore, Thomas (Eileen) Moore, Daniel (Jeanne) Moore, Susan (James) Blake, Terrence (Elizabeth) Moore, David (Teresa) Moore and the late Robert Moore; and beloved aunt and great aunt of many.

Mary found great purpose in her role at Sysmex and was also loved and supported by her Sysmex family.
