Mary Ellen Gustin

Visitation for Mary Ellen Gustin, 80, of Lake Zurich will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  Family and friends will meet for Prayers, 10:00 AM on Friday, June 3, 2016 also at the funeral home.  A Funeral Mass will be said, 10:30 AM at St. Francis de Sales Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  An Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.

She was born on March 21, 1936 in Pocahontas, AR and passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016 in Crystal Lake.

Mary Ellen was a long time parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Church, where she was a past organist.  She was a spouse of a military veteran for 22 years.

She was the beloved wife of the late Richard.  Mother of Stephen (Mary), Kenneth (Roxanne), Peter (Amy), and Gene (Sarah); grandfather of Keith (Maggie), Cassie (Tim) Fenton, Nathan, Corrine, Kelly, Kayla, Brad, Alex, Sam and Ryan; great grandmother of Kaylee, Matthew, Emily Fenton and Maeve Gustin; sister of Patsy (Ron), Peter (Adelle), Frank (Donna), Carol, Sandra (D.D.), Mark, Margaret (Max), Bernadette (Pat), and Kent (Glenda).

Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her grandson Andrew and her siblings Edward, Michael, and Frances.
