Mary J. Pastor

Visitation for Mary June Pastor, 86, of South Elgin, formerly of Lake Barrington, will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2022, from 10:00 am until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:00 pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.

She was born on March 27, 1936 in Chicago, IL and passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

Mary June, a former model and singer,  a woman who later in her life was a passionate follower of Jesus who lived her life to emulate and point others to God.

Mary was the loving daughter of Michael Pastore and Marie Tomaso and the loving mother of Joseph Michael Mazzenga, (Lori Anne Mazzenga) Grandmother to Alissa Joy Mazzenga, Aimee Elizabeth Mendez (Jonathan Eli Mendez) and Austin Joseph Mazzenga, Loving Sister to Anthony Pastore (Billy Ann Pastore); Loving Aunt to Michael Pastore and Michelle Rauzi. (Don Rauzi) Loving Great Aunt to Anthony Pastore, Michael Pastore and Nicky Pastore.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
