Matt Kielek

The Visitation for Matt Kielek, 87, a resident of Palatine for 20 years formerly resided on Melrose Street in Chicago for many years, will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  Services will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, May 14, 2015, also at the funeral home.  The Interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles.

Matt was born on September 20, 1927 in Chicago, IL the son of the late John and Katherine (nee Chuba) Kielek and passed away at his home early on Sunday morning May 10, 2015.

Beloved husband of 66 years of Grace (nee Kaminski)  Kielek; loving father of Mitchell Kielek, Susan (Frank) Womack, Sandra (Leslie) Opyd and Silvia Nommensen; grandfather of  Matthew Kielek, Katie (Chris) Spinker, Lana (Urbano) Pulido, Dawn (Rodney Schnulle) Womack, Lisa (Matt) Turner, Alex Opyd, Valerie Nommensen and Cindy (Richard Burke) Nommensen; great grandfather of Andres and Roberto Pulido, Sawyer Turner, Luke Burke and Gavin Spinker.
