Matthew R. Seiler

Memorial Visitation for Matthew Raymond Seiler, 29, a lifelong Palatine resident, will be held Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service, 7:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.  The Interment was private.

Matthew was born October 20, 1984 in Arlington Heights, and he passed away, unexpectedly, Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at home, surrounded by his family.

Matthew graduated from Palatine High School in 2003.  He had a huge passion for baseball, wrestling and music.  Matthew was an avid Chicago sports fan, enjoying the Chicago Cubs, Blackhawks and the Bears.

Survivors include his mother, Gail F. (nee Gagliano) Seiler; brothers, Michael (Jessica) Seiler and Brian (Melissa) Seiler; nephew, Mason Seiler; and his maternal grandparents, Carm and Arlene Gagliano.

He was preceded in death by his father, William E. Seiler, and his paternal grandparents, Peter and Joyce.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the family.
