Michael J. Bienik

Graveside Services for Michael J. Bienik Jr., 74, of Palatine, will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 1:00 PM at St. Adalbert Cemetery, 6800 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles, IL.  Meet at the cemetery office.  Social distancing is asked for anyone attending.

Michael was born April 10, 1945 in Chicago and peacefully passed away March 31, 2020 in Lake Zurich.

He was the beloved husband of Patricia Bienik (nee Detloff); loving father of Sherrie (John) Manrrique, Natalie (Barry) Krupowicz; loving step father of Christopher (Heather Weidrich) Tenggren, Jennifer (Michael) Gyetvay; loving grandfather of Jacob Manrrique, Katelyn Manrrique, Michael Taylor and Matrix Bryan; fond brother of Nancy Busa. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by parents, Michael Sr. and Helen (nee Sochacki) Bienik; daughter Sara Bienik and sister Lorraine (Richard) Cape.

Mike graduated from Taft High School, Chicago, IL. He attended Washburn Trade School in Chicago for his Tool and Die training. He completed his trade degree at Prosser Career Academy in Chicago, IL. He was a member of the Tool & Die Institute Trade School. He went on to have a life long career as a Plastic Injection Mold Maker. Mike was a hard working family man and his interests included fishing, racquetball, coaching his daughter’s softball teams, bowling, and will forever be known for his dance moves.
