Michael J. Schaefges

A Memorial Visitation for Michael J. Schaefges, 61, will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, from 5:00pm through 8:00pm, with a Memorial Service at 6:00pm. The Interment will be private.

Michael was the beloved husband of Mary, father to Eric (Ame), Ryan (Sarah), and Sabrina; and Grandfather aka “Miko” to Aurora, Everett, Xander, and Rhys.

Michael is preceded in death by his father; Eugene, mother; Marilyn and sister; Lori.

While Michael worked hard and was proud of his company, Lectro Graphics, his real pride and joy was his family. He loved family gatherings no matter how small or large. So we are happy to gather with everyone to remember him and reminisce together.
