Michael Mast

Visitation for Michael Mast, 68, of Palatine since 1984, will be on Monday, June 1, 2015 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  Family and friends will meet on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 916 E. Central Rd, Arlington Heights, where he will he lie in state from 9:30 AM until time of Funeral Service at 10:00 AM.  The Reverend Steve Pierce will officiate.  The Interment will follow at Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines.

Mike was born on March 17, 1947 in LaVeta, CO to Melvin and Dorthy Mast.  He passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2015 in Chicago.

He is survived by his loving wife, Irene (nee Larson) whom he married October 20, 1973. In addition, his beloved children, Janet Mast and David Mast; dear mother, Dorthy; fond siblings, Debra Moellenberg of Idalia, CO and Steve (Karen) Mast of Columbus, OH and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mike is preceded in death by his father.
