Michael Scarpelli

The Visitation for Michael Scarpelli, 95, of Inverness, will be held Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass, 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2515 Palatine Road, Inverness. An Entombment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine. Father Terry Keehan will officiate.

Michael was born September 22, 1923 in Celico, Italy and passed away December 27, 2018 in Hoffman Estates.

He was the beloved husband of the late Irene E. Scarpelli; loving father of Vincent (Debi) Scarpelli, Paul (Kimberley) Scarpelli and the late Robert C. Scarpelli, Sr.; Loving grandfather of Robert (Erin) Scarpelli Jr., Michael Scarpelli, Daniel Scarpelli, Ryan (Gina) Scarpelli and Caitlin Scarpelli; loving great-grandfather of Nathan , Owen, Gianna and Bianca Scarpelli; dear son of the late Anthony and Luigina (nee Turchiaro) Scarpelli; fond brother of the late Theodore Scarpelli, Ralph Scarpelli, Mary Rosonova and Emily (Joseph) Sopcich.
